Acceptable use policy

Orbitmate exists to help people start conversations worth having. This policy sets out what you may not do with it. It is part of our terms of service, and we may suspend accounts that break it.

Outreach

  • No spam: do not send bulk, untargeted or misleading messages, or messages to people who have asked you to stop.
  • Do not harass, threaten, deceive or impersonate anyone.
  • Do not hide who you are or who you represent. Messages must come from the real person or business behind the sender.
  • Honour opt-outs promptly, and stop a campaign for anyone who replies asking not to be contacted.

LinkedIn accounts and limits

  • Connect only LinkedIn accounts you own or are authorized to operate.
  • Follow LinkedIn’s terms. Do not work around LinkedIn’s limits, or change Orbitmate’s sender caps to send faster than a person reasonably would.
  • Do not use accounts that were created falsely or bought.

Data

  • Do not collect data beyond what Orbitmate’s features do, or use Orbitmate to build datasets for resale.
  • Only bring in personal data you have a lawful basis to use, and do not upload special-category data (such as health, religion or political views) or data about children.
  • Do not use Orbitmate data to discriminate against anyone.

Content

  • No unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit or infringing content, and no malware or phishing links.
  • No messages promoting illegal goods, services or schemes.

The platform

  • Do not probe, scan or test the security of Orbitmate without our written permission.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the service, or access it through automated means other than features we provide.
  • Do not resell access unless we have agreed it in writing.

Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is misusing Orbitmate, including sending you unwanted messages, write to legal@orbitmate.ai. We review every report.
