Terms of service

The service

Orbitmate helps you research contacts, write personal LinkedIn messages, run campaigns through LinkedIn accounts you connect (“senders”) and handle replies. Features may change as we improve the product; we will not remove a core feature you pay for during a billing period without notice.

Accounts

• You must give accurate details and keep your login secure.
• You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by team members and clients you invite.
• You may only connect LinkedIn accounts that you own or are authorized to use, and you are responsible for keeping that authorization current. Connecting a sender means giving Orbitmate that account’s sign-in details so it can act for the sender in the cloud.
• Some features rely on services you connect with your own keys (Apify and Tavily for enrichment, OpenRouter optionally for drafting) and on a proxy for each sender. Those services are provided under your own agreements with their providers.

Plans, senders and billing

[Paid plans are not yet live in the product; confirm these terms before launch.] Subscriptions are priced per connected sender. Your plan follows your sender count: Starter for 1 to 5 senders, Agency for 6 to 30, and Scale for 31 or more. Current prices are on our pricing page.

• You can pay monthly, quarterly or annually. Quarterly and annual billing are paid in advance for the period.
• Adding or removing senders changes your charge from the next billing period. If your sender count moves into another plan, the new per-sender price applies to every sender.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled before renewal.

LinkedIn and your obligations

Orbitmate is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. Your use of LinkedIn is governed by LinkedIn’s own terms, which you agree to follow. LinkedIn may limit or restrict accounts at its discretion; Orbitmate’s daily caps, warm-up, working hours and approvals help you send at a considered pace but cannot guarantee that an account will not be restricted.

You agree to:

• have a lawful basis to contact the people you bring into Orbitmate, and honour their requests to stop;
• follow our acceptable use policy;
• comply with privacy, marketing and anti-spam law that applies to your outreach.

AI-generated content

Orbitmate suggests drafts written by AI models from the context you provide. Drafts can be wrong or unsuitable. Every connection request, message, comment and reaction waits for someone on your team to approve, edit or reject it, and what you approve is sent as approved. You are responsible for the content you approve and send in your name.

Your data

You own the data you bring into Orbitmate and the messages you send. You give us the rights we need to host and process it to provide the service. Where we process personal data for you, our data processing terms apply and form part of these terms. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data as a controller.

Our intellectual property

Orbitmate, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. These terms give you a right to use the product during your subscription; they do not transfer ownership. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation.

Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other’s non-public information confidential, use it only for this agreement, and protect it with at least reasonable care. This does not cover information that is public, already known, independently developed or required to be disclosed by law.

Warranties and disclaimers

We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, the service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim other warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not promise particular outreach results, reply rates or meetings.

Limitation of liability

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from these terms. Each party’s total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the [twelve] months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them to, or to your payment obligations.

Suspension and termination

• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period.
• We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these terms or the acceptable use policy, or if continued use would put others at risk. Where practical we will warn you first.
• After termination you can export your data for [number] days, after which we delete it as described in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email at least [30] days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Orbitmate after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and disputes will be heard by the courts of [venue].
